Six Romney Family Members Hit Campaign Trail… For RON PAUL

Steve Watson at Infowars writes:

No less than six relatives of Presidential candidate Mitt Romney have joined the campaign trail in the race for the GOP nomination, but they’re not supporting the former Massachusetts governor, they’re campaigning for Texas Congressman Ron Paul.

Three of Romney’s relatives will even speak at Idaho caucus sites, declaring their support for Paul...

The Paul campaign issued a press release Monday introducing five Romney relatives, then issued another release shortly afterwards noting a sixth.

Travis Romney, Troy Romney and Chad Romney, all cousins of Mitt Romney, will speak before Ron Paul crowds in Idaho today. Ty Romney and Jared Romney, whose grandfathers are cousins of former Michigan Governor George Romney, the father of Mitt Romney, have also declared their support for Paul....

“It’s Ron Paul or bust,” Chad Romney added, “Now, a lot of people will ask me if I’m related,” he said. “And I always say: ‘Yes, I’m related, but I vote for Ron Paul.’ ”...

“I support Ron Paul because he defends the Constitution, loves America and understands what it means to be an American, including the right to live your life any way you want as long as you respect others,” said Travis Romney, a second cousin once removed from the former Massachusetts governor.
Ty Romney, an attorney in Montana added, “Ron Paul is honest. It’s time to take a stand for honesty. It doesn’t matter whether the truth is popular or not, I know that Ron Paul will always maintain a true principle and I endorse that degree of integrity.”

Paul’s campaign suggests that the endorsements show that the Congressman can win Mormon voters, noting that the Romneys are now members of the “Latter-day Saints for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition.

  1. This is wonderful, but the pessimist in me hopes it is not for some kind of sabotage.

    1. You can pick your friends but you can't pick your relatives. And they're all distant relatives, in more ways than one. I voted for Mitt today and I'll be voting for him in November while Ron Paul is figuring out how to pay off his campaign debts.

Ron Paul doesn't have debts. And isn't Mittens the one who shucked and jived companies so he could strip them of their assets so he could take his hundreds of millions offshore and pay next to no taxes on it? Mitten's a great Amerikan! He's no different than Obombya, gets his financing from Goldman Sachs and Bank of America and a bunch of other corporate whores, good luck with that non-thinkers

LDS wake up. You shouldn't be voting for someone because he's the same religion as you

    3. It should be obvious to any Moron that Mitt has both the hair & the tan to be a good president.

As far as Dr. Paul's "campaign debts", he won't have any. He pays for things up front instead of piling on more and more debt.

Gosh, that sure is inconveniently consistent of him.

    4. Curious, like he struggled to pay off his campaign debts in 2008? You mistake Paul for an ordinary politician. BTW good luck in November with Mitt, it will be worse than McCain. Thanks for four more years of Obama.

  2. Not too long ago Rick Santorum's nephew (18) wrote an article (published on Daily Caller) about why he support Dr. Paul! Just don't expect one of Noot's daughters to jump ship--Dr. Paul doesn't have the kind of money their used to getting from their dad to be his hype-men!

    2. The only hope we have to keep the freedoms we take for granted is a Ron Paul. Why do you think the media misquotes him, Ignores him shows the fringe supporters and not the mainstream Ron Paul supporters? We have stood by for several elections watching our candidate be ignored, asked silly questions, called unjust names like loony, nut job, kook. why? because he supports the Constitution of the United States of America (Just to remind everyone... Every elected official takes an oath to support/defend the constitution). Why? Because he supports the idea that you have the right granted to you by your creator to liberty to live your life as a free people to live as you wish as long as you don't infringe on the rights of others. He wants to legalize most things at the Fed level because it is the states place to create laws for their citizens. State law trumps federal law. Distributed Government = no concentration of power to force tyrannical power over the people.

The current path is one of oppression and tyranny like we have never seen in this country. I fear it is coming fast.

      Support Ron Paul.

Submitted Anonymous because of the DHS and the supposition that Ron Paul supporters are possible terrorists.

I hope Ron Paul runs Independently he could WIN! Their is a wildest surpris coming in November beyond your wildest dreams!! Most Americans are fed up with broken ways America has been governed. It Is Time for the True American to rise in Righteousness and vote for A Hero of the Law of the Land, Ron Paul! Sound money is a key for a Sound Country and a Strong military. America is going the way of Europe, Financial Collapse is coming first Europe then in this Decade America. We must change soon. I am doubtful America will not change until the money stops printing. 8. Let me ask you this?Where the f#ck has Ron Paul been for the last twenty years? Why has he never ever warned us like he is know? You people make me sick!Vote Ron Paul or be shut down the USSA?You snot nose punk! When are you going to realize that if most of you were the problem that voted for our current partier in cheif!Ron Paul doesn't have a snowballs's chance in hell to win any nomination,or win as an independant! If he runs as an independent,Obama gets to run out the clock on the USA!Unite behind one candidate no matter who it is,preferably the best at representing our constitutional values, and demand that the right people are appointed to the right positions in the POTUS cabinet so we can turn this country around. You can start by looking at yourself in the mirror and asking yourself what you would do if there wasn't a Ron Paul?Would you believe in the hope and change retoric? You young fans are nothing like Ron Paul!In his twenties,if someone offered to pay him five dollars to dig a ditch,he would have did it with a smile on his face!On the other hand, most of you young people would say no to the same job for forty dollars.Your to busy tweeting and on facebook, and most of you probably don't know how to use a f#ckin shovel!

    1. Ron Paul has been standing up since the 70's .... The Media won't report what he says. That is why some of the Ron Paul supporters sound crazed... They are just as frustrated as you sound. Support him ... He is a good man (not perfect) but a good man.

  10. Re: where has Ron Paul been last 20 years...Do some research....
He has constantly warned and predicted everything that is happening
today..but your liberal friends in the left stream media have never covered any of the past 20 years worth of congressional hearings. The people who don't vote for Doc Paul deserve what they get...
Just a reminder for you schmucks look at what happened in Argentina.
Most of you anti-Paul A holes probably don't even know what I'm talking about.
Here's to LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS
See you, maybe, in the United States of China, when I come to visit some friends and relatives.

  11. If Romney get the nomination (which I'm afraid he will), expect a full-scale media assault on him, family members and Mormonism in general (from polygamy to its racist past to its "survivalist" tendencies). They've been very nice to him so far as he's the slickest and most moderate Republican. And they know his chances against Obama are very slim unless we have major economic turmoil by next fall.

Remember, though, the media even went after Hillary (one of their former darlings) viciously in the Democratic primary against Obama. This kind of report is the least that Romney has to worry about if he gets the Republican nod.

  12. Why bother with all this anyway?

Election results can be faked and have been in this country at least twice (G. W. Bush x2). Republican officials are just ripping up or "losing" Ron Paul votes during the primaries (see Nevada's, Iowa's and Massachusett's primaries and the officials who resigned in the wake of allegations and actual proof of this).

What's to stop these things happening during the national elections?

It's not votes that count in an election, it's money and promises. Given the amount of freedoms that have been lost to America during Obama's watch, it's painfully obvious that his road to power was paved with so many debts to powerful interests that he was hamstrung from the start, no matter how much good he - and the deluded who voted for him - might have thought he could do.
