Sunday September 2nd - Neil Barofsky
Neil Barofsky is author of the new book, Bailout. The book is about his time spent as the special inspector general of TARP.
Barofsky was once a US Attorney for the Southern District of New York where he was the lead investigator of the Colombian drug cartel FARC. His investigation resulted in the indictment of their top 50 leaders. During the interview, I asked if he thought this resulted in anything other than the power vacuum being filled by other drug leaders and if drugs were still available on the streets of America. I also asked him if government in general was about power centers. It was at this point that he decided that he was too busy to continue the interview.
