HOT: Jesse Benton Caught Attempting to Sabotage P.A.U.L. Festival

The clip below shows Peter Schiff reading an email from Jesse Benton advising Schiff not to participate in the P.A.U.L. Festival.

Benton tells Schiff in the email that he should reconsider participating in the P.A.U.L. Festival that it is "bad news'.

  1. F Benton. I'll gladly stay on the "fringe" while that guy can go f himself. I wish I had every dollar back I donated to the campaign.

    1. Certainly glad I was kept all of what little money I have. Turns out I needed it anyway. Politics is the most vicious and corrupt institution in history. The state needs to be ABOLISHED not "reformed". How many fucking times have people tried to reform it since 3000BC? Does it work? No.

Remember the definition of insanity people or be idiots and just ignore the warning...AGAIN!

  2. I have been at the Paul festival since Thursday night. Everyone that I have met has been extremely polite and intelligent. The idea that the group that put the event together is "fringe" or "bad news" is laughably ridiculous. If a group of thousands of free thinking freedom loving people should be avoided or someone Schiff or Dr Paul

  3. ...the idea that Schiff or Dr. Paul should avoid being associated with an intelligent, informed, and humble group of people is ridiculous. Jesse Benton should be ashamed.

  4. I feel bad for the position Dr. Paul is in. He put in 30 plus years for liberty, toiling away, expecting little. Suddenly everything changes, young people start to wake up, and it becomes apparent that he has laid the foundation for a movement which has only begun. His son, benefiting from the enthusiasm the father toiled for three decades to inspire, follows his footsteps to the U.S. Senate. If it stopped there, it would be a perfect story, but that would only bring us to early 2011.

Dr. Paul runs for President for a third time, watches his following grow, and witnesses his pet issues which were once ridiculed adopted as mainstream talking points. Predictably, his party which withheld committee chairmanships from him for years, twist the rules and actively work to discredit him. Not so predictably, his son chooses to eschew his father's example of holding to principles and instead emulates Ronald Reagan and every other politician of recent mint who say one thing, and do another.

Now this. The grassroots have had Benton figured out for months, but until now I have hoped that Dr. Paul was unaware, shielded, or oblivious. I can no longer hold on to that hope. If Dr. Paul didn't already know, he will know soon. Either he has been betrayed by his granddaughter's husband, or he has betrayed the supporters who brought him to his current station for the sake of these two snakes' future political aspirations.

    1. Rest assured that he knew everything from the get-go. He openly supported Rand's endorsement of Romney by linking on his Facebook page to an article praising Rand's "realism". He did not lift his finger to stop Benton from ruining his campaign. He knew everything, he is a part of everything from the beginning and we should stop making excuses for him anymore. He sold out to secure Rand's political future in the GOP. That's all. It's hard to believe and to accept this since he had done so many heroic things for liberty over the last 30 years, but he had chosen to ruin his legacy by substituting his emotions as a father for his duties as a statesmen. Ron Paul is dead as a politician and symbol. Let's move on.

  5. Ron's retiring. Benton knows he needs to find a new job.

  6. If he did this to Ron...who wants to hire a backstabber ? ..advancing your career that way is shortlived.

    1. Not really. Government is made of backstabbers. A back-stabbing congressional "career" can last many decades. It is a reflection of our values as a country, that we advance the power of backstabbers over us. Bureaucrats are unelected, and often have lifetime careers.

  7. It has already been disclosed that Tate and Jessie will be going back to C$/4L so the best thing you can do is ignore their solicitations for donations.

    2. Seriously. I got mail from Willard Romney this week. I'm not registered republican, so I have one guess how they got my address . . .

    3. About a year ago when C4L originally had Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah, and Mitt Romney supporter) pen a fund-raising email, I knew they were toast.

  8. Benton better be careful or he'll find himself on the receiving end of the same treatmenet he's dishing out.

  9. Benton is such a fat prick. He has to have been the one leaking stuff to the media for months about how Ron might endorse Romney and other nonsense.

BTW, where are all the people who used to post on the comments section here who said Ron would endorse Romney? They look pretty stupid now, don't they?
