Economists Report in from Around the U.S.

Bernanke money continues to flow to high tech sectors and that is just about it. Here's a quick tour of the latest headlines around the U.S.:


State economist Darrin Webb says Mississippi likely slipped into recession ...


These economists are mostly nothing but trend trackers and have no theory that will allow them to detect changes in direction, but their comments do reflect the current general economic trends, which are sluggish to down.

The key now is to watch and see if Bernanke's new money printing works its way into the system, or ends up in excess reserves, where it would have no impact on the economy.
