Rand Paul Headed to New Hampshire to Campaign for Mitt Romney

Rand continues to work for the Republican elitist establishment. Don't forget Romney in thw White House means neo-conservative advisers in the White House. The Kentucky Courier-Journal reports:
Mitt Romney’s campaign is keeping Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., busy.

Paul this fall has made some solo and joint campaign appearances with Romney and his vice presidential running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wisc. The Kentucky senator recently campaigned on behalf of the ticket in the battleground state of Ohio.

On Saturday, Paul will be in New Hampshire, the Romney campaign has just announced.

The senator is scheduled to speak Saturday afternoon at the “Durham Young Americans Victory Event” at the University of New Hampshire.

We asked Paul in a recent interview if he had become part of the Romney campaign family. The senator chuckled and said, “Something like that.”

“Trying to encourage the conservative base, the tea party base, is part of what I’m doing,” Paul said of his appearances, adding he also hoped to generate local news coverage for the Romney campaign.
President Barack Obama for some time enjoyed a lead in the polls over Romney in the Granite State. But the latest surveys put the presidential race there in a statistical tie.

  1. I don't know what's in Rand's head. He seems so good sometimes, and a total disappointment other times. I don't think he was lying when he said he's not a libertarian.

  3. I wonder if Rand hadn't been around if Romney's campaign had been so bad to Ron Paul.
