  1. I just caught the third installment of the Showtime special that I assume is based on this book. The special correctly calls out how the nuclear bombs dropped at the end of WWII were completely unnecessary, but at the end it makes the assertion that FDR had some sort of vision of peace for the world. Since I didn't see the first or second installments of the series, I don't know for certain, but it seems like this 'untold history' is leaving out the untold part where FDR did everything in his power to get the U.S. to go to war with Germany and Japan.

    1. So true. Wenzel needs to read Justin's piece so he has some quality questions prepared for the interview.
