The Best Country to Be Born In...

The Economist Intelligence Unit, a sister company of The Economist, says its Switzerland, with the U.S. in a tie with Germany at #16.

The index attempts to measure which country will provide the best opportunities for a healthy, safe and prosperous life in the years ahead.

In all, the index takes 11 indicators into account. Sme are fixed factors, such as geography; others change only very slowly over time (demography, many social and cultural characteristics); and some factors depend on policies and the state of the world economy.

  1. Robert have you seen this?

Barak fears 9/11 truth, quits politics!

    1. The subtitles are not what Ehud Barak said. The video is a hoax.

      Don't be so gullible.

  2. Looks like The Economist stiffed Iceland -- which would rank very high, I am guessing -- because Iceland stiffed The Economist's banking buddies/fellow cabal members.

    How petty of you, Economist!

  3. Small countries. Open to free trade. Rule of law.
