Well, to be devil's advocate, Ol' Ellen probably coughs up some serious bucks for charity (I mean besides the Democratic Party). The real problem with Limo Liberals is they want to donate MY MONEY too. And NOT to the people I would like to have it.
This is just ignorant. If Ellen DeGeneres makes $50 million per year, how many millions worth of jobs does she generate? How many people are employed at her show?
This poster is just pandering to the typical, economically ignorant right-winger. The truth is that there is nothing unlibertarian in making $50 million, donating some to charity, and being praised for it. Let's keep the criticism to calls for raising taxes and other statist theft schemes.
I think you missed the point. I don't see the poster saying anything about Ellen being bad for earning money, but is merely pointing out the hypocrisy of how many people think of businessmen as being greedy but celebrities that want to give away other people's money as being saints.
