Click, Print, Gun

  1. The video mentions that one can also carve the lower gun part out of wood. Will woodworkers need to register with the government too?
I think some people are getting hysterical about the "revolution" of 3D printing and statists, like the New York Times, are getting a tingle up their leg about this new excuse to restrict individual freedom. The Makerbot CEO was wise to not even comment on this story...unlike me I guess!

    1. Nice.

Really cool to see the concept work. Cody needs to wear some safety glasses though.

  4. Ahhhh, the irony of this post, coming from a pro IP. Defense Distributed is committed to open source. Bob, I think you should be the only one to pay DD for access to its packages.

    1. Ahhh, the irony of confusion. I have no problem with open source, whether it is done as a marketing technique or as an act of charity.

My objection is to forcing open source on me. I have no problem with DD doing anything they want with their property.

    2. Nice of you to admit to your confusion, Bobby-boy. Once DD releases its idea, its not "his". Do you even understand what property is? IP is all about your control over my (copy of your idea) property? It is not "their property" once open sourced.
Question, what OS is running on the server this website is on?
