ReplyDeleteOnly in the movies can a blurry image be made sharp and clear. But the blur is data mixed with neighboring data and it cannot be unmixed. The 'sharpening' feature of some image manipulation software merely takes gray areas and arbitrarily assigns them to bright or dark. This works to sharpen edges of large objects, but there is no info to determine whether a particular pixel should have been made brighter or darker. Blur is a one way street.
