Adam Kokesh Attorney "Disappointed" Judge Has Not Yet Ruled on Kokesh Bail

In an exclusive interview with Adam Kokesh's attorney, Peter Cooper, Copper told that he is disappointed that he has not yet heard from Judge Patricia A. Broderick  with regard to bail for Kokesh. "Every time the phone rings, I am hoping it is news from the court," Cooper said.

During Kokesh's last court appearance on August 13, prosecutors continued to object to Kokesh’s release. Broderick ordered prosecutors to submit a response in writing as to why Kokesh should continue to be held without bail, upon which she would render her decision. Most court observers expected a decision by the judge by last week Friday.

Cooper said that although the prosecutor in the case said in court that he was working on a plea deal, the prosecutor has not come forward to date with any deal.

Cooper said the charges brought against Kokesh in Washington D.C. call for a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

Cooper said he was appointed by the court to defend Kokesh .

  1. A public defender? Folks, if you are going to go head to head with the State, allegedly keeping quantities of drugs in your possession, etc., you NEED TO KEEP AN ATTORNEY ON RETAINER. Preferably someone with experience with the kind of charges you are likely to face.

    1. Agreed. Though I think Kokesh should not be in jail and all that, it's like he didn't think ahead or be prepared for the worse. Like Snowden, who had a plan.

    2. Adam needs a non bar council who knows the truth, not a public pretender.

  2. If you plan on bucking the system in a very public manor...expect to get swatted on the behind in a very public way.

If you plan to use the bogus war courts system know that it is set up to set you up. It is set for rigging and control from the top. The best you should expect to get against them in their courts is a slap in the face (case dismissed).

if you want to fight city hall, there is a saying -"You cant fight city hall." They will grind you down as they wish. Some times it does take a little time for them to rewrite the rules before they get to you.

  3. He just loaded a shotgun. Who did he hurt? Who did he threaten? Oh yeah the thugs who rule this country and rob and control the rest of us. Land of the free? What a sick joke that is.

  4. These black robe devils and thug prosecutors don't have to justify anything or show anyone any stinkin badges. What do they say about absolute power and all bar attorneys are all part of the matrix. All they know is what the matrix has taught them. They say crime doesn't pay, but that depends on which side of the bench you are sitting on. Anyone who tries to exercise their Constitutional or God given rights today is a criminal and traitor. Like Ron Paul said, "Telling the truth in an empire of lies is treason.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”
