Mainstream media continues its absurd debate over who will make a better Fed chairperson, Larry Summers or Janet Yellen, however, it is clear there is very little in policy difference between the two. They are both Keynesian money printers. It's like choosing between Benjamin Moore green paint and Sherwin Williams green paint.
Indeed, I have only found one difference between them. Yellen uses much more hair spray.
If this matters to you, there is a difference.
And don't forget the lipstick. You can put lipstick on....

ReplyDeleteNot only is Yellen likely to be even more dovish, but she has been involved & supportive of Fed Reserve policy for most of past 20 years.
