Further Indication Yellen Will Be the Next Fed Chair

According to WSJ, Janet Yellen has just canceled a planned October 1 speech at the NY Economic Club.

The group said Friday that the Oct. 1 speech by  Yellen had been called off but gave no reason.

When Larry Summers was considered the top pick to replace Ben Bernanke as Fed chair, he cancelled a previously scheduled speech.
