San Francisco Area SWAT Teams and Stone Cold Israeli Killers

Last night, I hit the streets of San Francisco and stopped off at a few favorite watering holes, looking for interesting women and/or interesting conversation. The female crowd was a bit weak. I suspect many had headed off to Halloween parties, something I don't do. But I did have an interesting conversation with a salesman who sold night vision goggles to police SWAT teams.

When he told me what he sold, I did not tell him of my libertarian leanings. I considered it more of a fact finding conversation. I asked him, if he felt the police were becoming more militarized. He said,"No." He was in San Francisco for a SWAT Team conference.  He said most of the training was aimed at battling terrorism. But then he added, "You know, the greater San Francisco area has more SWAT teams than any other part of the country."

He considered San Jose to the south and Berkeley to the east as part of the greater San Francisco area. He told me that the University of California, Berkeley has its own SWAT team and the  he said, "Even Pittsburgh, California has a SWAT team, what the hell is Pittsburgh, California and why do they need a SWAT team?"

I asked him what other cities had strong SWAT teams presence. He told me the names you would expect, Chicago, New York Los Angeles.  Just to jilt the conversation a bit, I asked him about Miami. He said, "Nothing registers on the radar, the same with Atlanta, not much going on."

The SWAT team conference he was attending was a regional event. There were 36 SWAT teams attending, 30 from the San Francisco region  and a few outliers, including a SWAT team from Israel.

He looked at me and said, "You know those Israelis are very serious stone cold killers."

He told me that even during breaks when some of the SWAT members would take a break and perhaps go out for a cigarette, he said the Israelis stayed serious.

On Saturday, during the day, they had a mock terrorist kidnap situation where terrorists had kidnapped the young daughter of a diplomat. He said that each of the 36 SWAT teams had a chance to rescue the girl. He told me that most of the teams were able to rescue the girl safely, while only killing one or two of the terrorists and capturing the others.

He told me that when the Israelis went in, they killed all the terrorists, even a terrorist who was in the attic with his children. They also killed the children. During a debriefing, after all the teams went through the mock kidnapping, they asked the Israelis why the killed the children in the attic. They replied, "They will likely be future terrorists, it's best to kill them early."

I also learned a bit about night vision goggles. Because they need to draw light from the moon and stars, they don't function when there is cloud cover, and they are less functional on moonless nights..Also they don't work inside, if there is no light source to draw from.

  1. The salesman's anecdote is interesting but who knows if it is accurate. What scares me is that there are lot's of people whose esteem for the Israeli's would increase if it were true.

On the subject of night vision devices, the salesman was describing light amplification devices which do need some ambient light to amplify. However, you can use supplemental lighting which is invisible to the naked eye to see without ambient light. There is another type of night vision device that senses thermal radiation and requires no ambient light at all. I suspect SWAT teams commonly have both kinds these days since The Overlords lavish attention and funding on the iron fist that enforces their rule.

Soon your local police/sheriff dept. will have a Federally subsidized autonomous flying drone that will circle overhead silently at all hours of the day or night like a flying red light camera only much more intrusive. It will have sophisticated multi-spectral imaging systems that can detect human images through building surfaces. Maybe they will have RFID scanners and GPS locators on board as well as acoustical listening devices to pick up your non electronic conversations. Welcome to Panoptica.

  2. Truth is odd.
I'm happy to be an observer.
    Participation is too much.

  3. I was at a Halloween parade this weekend with my kids. I saw a little toddler, maybe two years old, dressed up as a SWAT stormtrooper. Americans love their police state almost as much as they love their military.

    1. Military and police jock sniffing and badge licking has sadly become the norm.

No way that these innocent children should be judged individually, got to kill them just to be safe. What kind of sick logic is this. What said or down right not surprising is there are plenty of neo-cons and other military and police jock sniffers who openly support this logic.

  4. What the HELL were the Israelis doing at the SWAT team conference anyway?? Oh, yeah, they're the ones training our own police to be cold-blooded killers, just as they are and have been for years. We don't need; and, we certainly don't want, cold-blooded Israeli killers in our country, period. They don't belong here; they're an EVIL influence on our local law enforcement personnel, who have sworn UNDER OATH to uphold and defend the US Constitution. Those Israeli psychopaths don't give a rat's ass about our Constitution or Rule of Law; since, their nation has NO constitution; never has.

  5. the israelis have been training US cops for years. that is why there is an epidemic of puppycide- cops murdering family pets. the terrorist message is- shut up or we will kill your kids next.

and the nazis were convicted as war criminals for exactly the same mentality- kill the children of the partisans who resisted their occupation. the israelis say they hate the nazis, but in fact they are the nazis.

    fed up with israel yet?

    1. Mr Anonymous,

You write: "The israelis have been training US cops for years. that is why there is an epidemic of puppycide".

Cause and effect. You got a link for that?

  7. Hmmm

I am confused here. Wasn't it the NAZIS that the jews claim were systematically murdering them? And isn't this mentality exactly the same as all the alleged terrorists that the israelis claim are out to get them? What is the difference between a bomber who blows up a bus full of people to kill one politician and a swat team that kills entire families including the women and children in the process of getting the "bad guy" ? Seems to me they are the same evil, cowardly scum. The only difference is one wears a badge and the other doesn't. But you can be sure it doesn't matter a damn which is which to those dead women and children. And of course ultimately it is the entire society that is being punished by such lawless murders.

  9. Hey Robert,

I've red the salesman anecdote of the Israeli SWATT. Since I'm from Israel, I don't believe it to be true. I will of course not try to convince you, not because your opinion doesn't matter to me, I'm human, and I care what others think of me (me=my country).

What struck me here is the realization that the level to which you seem to believe this story to be true is being matched only be my own belief of it's falseness. It got me thinking about what makes us think the way we do, when it's obvious there's only one truth? What made you believe this story to the point you published it?
