Rand Paul Outlines His Recovery Plan for Detroit

Rand Paul discussed his plan for Detroit on Sean Hannity, last night.

On its surface, I can't object to Rand's plan. It is about lowering personal taxes and corporate taxes to 5% in certain "freedom zones.". All lowering of taxes is a good thing. As for what Rand calls a "freedom zone," the greater that is encompassed under such a definition the better.

  1. I don't know. Every time I hear a "free xxxx zone" mandated by the government, I think of regulation and permission by the government, and that's for a particular spot in the city or area. Would be nice to see a Senator or any law maker see that we don't need "zones" but have the mindset that our freedoms came before the Constitution and government.

  3. I thought the whole country was supposed to be a "freedom zone". I think that's what my teachers told me. I smell a conspiracy.

  4. When you step into a "freedom zone" do you step out of a "slavery zone"?

  5. I can't wait to exercise my second amendment right in these freedom zones...oh wait. Until then, you'll never get me to Detroit.
