One Man's View on the Ventura vs. Wenzel Debate on Gay Rights and Discrimination

Derek H. Franklin emails:
I thought you did a great job debating Jesse Ventura.  I'm Black and agree wholeheartedly with your views on discrimination.  As a Christian I don't support gay marriage.  However, I don't think the government should be involved on marriage on any level.  After all, marriage seemed to do just fine before government stuck it's "camel's nose" under the tent.
You can listen to the debate here.

  2. What are you saying, Jerry? Are you saying marriage did fine, not so fine, was in crisis and in need of State intervention before the government got involved?

    1. Basically. His modus operandi is to simply negate any statement and use that as his argument. Then crawl away. Nice, clean, easy. A good day's work obviously.

    2. JW's an idiot most of the time but now and then, like a broken clock, he gets something right. You gotta wade through a ton of BS to catch that moment.

  3. Any individual that has worked in sales or been in the dating game has experienced discrimination.

By Ventura's logic the state will always be necessary as long as people have different skin pigmentation. Perhaps Jesse Jackson, I mean Ventura, should be called a Serial Equalist.
