The Must View Video If You Want to Understand the U.S. Economy

The massive increase in productivity in the U.S. oil sector has played a large role in keeping price inflation subdued. This video provides an awesome explanation on what is going on. If you don't understand the information in this video, you can't possibly understand the U.S. economy.

  1. so hello to hyperinflation if thats all true. the fed needs an energy deficit to export inflation, that's the only reason you hear a peep about the allleged evils of fracking.

  2. After 36 yrs in the oil and gas business (18 yrs w/a major and 18 yrs as an independent) there is an awful lot of misplaced optimism in this video. I live in Midland. TX. The center of the Permian Basin. Everything is financed with debt. Hedge Funds are throwing money around. I know of one company recently acquired with 100% debt. Pull the production records from the Tx RRC. Ask yourself if $10MM well investments can be recouped with the reported cummulative production. There is a big difference between IPs and cummulative production.

  3. Sorry, couldn't sit through a narrative filled with wild assertions absent any facts other than $300.00 Best Western hotel bills. I hate having the wool pulled over my eyes and when you combine a mild piano melody with an aw shucks guy telling you about great things ahead, I think carney act...

  4. Still a fracking skeptic. Serious concerns over environmental, ground water and health risks. Rather see MSR technology pursued (get rid of Oil/Gas/LWR lobby obstructionists) for sustainable clean energy.

  5. I like hearing about brilliant, productive people doing things that benefit mankind, but the idea that the United States has to be "energy independent" is stupid. Being energy independent is no more important than being banana independent or titanium independent or anything-else independent. Has Mr. Moore heard of the division of labor? Besides, trade promotes peace. How many more wars will the parasites in DC start if they know they don't have to worry about gas prices going through the roof?

  6. Whenever energy gets TOO cheap,
there will be a war in Europe.
    .
    Dude never mentioned that.

  7. It appears to me that the previous commentators have to find something to complain about. There is an energy revolution occurring in the US and it's GOOD NEWS! Eat your heart out, doomers.

  8. Interesting, would energy independence lead to the US disengaging from the Mid East? No more support for the Saudi royal family? Stop blindly supporting Israel?

  9. Did this retard mention fracking bans are allowed per the PA supreme court now?

Or that 150 years of anything is a horribly small reserve?

Or that gas prices may be marginally lower but entrepreneurs aren't counting any of the other higher costs?
