Black Bundy Bodyguard: He's Not A Racist; "I'd Take A Bullet For That Man"

Transcript of interview by CNN with black bodyguard that has been protecting Cliven Bundy:

CNN REPORTER: You're protecting this man and he's wondering whether African-Americans would be better off as slaves. How does that strike you?

JASON BULLOCK, BODYGUARD FOR CLIVEN BUNDY: It doesn't strike me any kind of way. This is still the same old Mr. Bundy I met from the first day of all this happening.

CNN REPORTER: But aren't those offensive comments to you

BULLOCK: Not at all.

CNN REPORTER: Not offensive?

BULLOCK: Because Mr. Bundy is not a racist. Ever since I've been here he's treated me with nothing but hospitality. He's pretty much treated me like his own family.

###

BULLOCK: I would take a bullet for that man, if need be. I look up to him just like I do my own grandfather.

CNN REPORTER: Why?

BULLOCK: Because I believe in his cause and after having met Mr. Bundy a few times, I have a really good feel about him and I'm a pretty good judge of character.

  1. Must we be subjected to the Noreastern ideals. It's not even liberal ideals; it's this small part of the country that "nudges" the rest of the country to be subjected to its normative.

    1. Thank you for saying something this lifelong Midwesterner has long thought. The major media, all based in places like New York, Boston, and DC, breathlessly spout this obnoxious worldview as if it were universally accepted, axiomatic truth when in reality it is only an insular, circle jerk echo chamber of Yankees whose crummy opinions are shared AT BEST by only half the people in the country, and probably a lot fewer.

This habit of self-importance permeates all forms of the media. Someone takes a dump in Manhattan and it's of "national" significance. Sorry, Yanks, in reality it's just someone taking a dump and the vast majority of people who live outside Manhattan just do not care.

Barry Goldwater famously said the country as a whole would be better off if we could saw off the entire Eastern seaboard and set it adrift. That is obviously not doable, but maybe we could erect some kind of Great Yankee Wall to ensure these awful people contaminate only their own neighborhoods, wreck their own economies, and inflict themselves only on themselves. I'm quite tired of them and feel no kinship whatsoever.

  2. Forgot to mention the title should read "Negro Bodyguard" not "Black Bodyguard."

Instead of giving a name, it should simply say "The Negro"

    1. Oh, Jerry.
We can always count on you for honest, intellectually sound commentary.

    2. I'm old enough to remember when black people were called "colored" (hence the NAACP). Then someone decided the word of the moment was "Negro". Anyone who didn't know that was a racist racist racist. What a faux pas. I believe that was the word of the moment used by MLK, right?

Then it was Afro-American. Then it was Black. Then it was African American.

I'm also old enough to remember the separate bathrooms in the south when I was 10 and 11 in 1962 and being appalled.

So I really enjoy being called a racist racist racist by the same "progressives" who gave Detroit their wars on poverty, guns, drugs, racism and illiteracy. Who (other than us libertarians) would have thought it would lead to this 2.5 miles from my house?

The progressives also brought us the freeways via eminent domain to enable everyone to leave Detroit and the funny money loans so we could afford to. Sprawl is caused by unregulated capitalism, FYI.

    3. If it's ok for Harry Reid, then it's ok for Bundy, right?

What if Robert Byrd had been a Republican with these comments?

  3. What's the problem, JWTroll? Are first person accounts of people that actually work and live with Mr. Bundy not valid enough data for you? Can we only see into people's soul by experiencing edited soundbites? Perhaps the truth can only be known if it's filtered through east coast filters like the NYT?

  4. Jerry Wolfgang is out trolling his venom on youtube:

The negro in this video is willing to take a bullet for Bundy because nobody taught him how to pick cotton. The negro seeks a white master and will work for the white master without pay because the negro is naturally predisposed to work for a white master without pay. The negro in this video would be better off under slavery. It's better to pick cotton and sing songs than take a bullet for Bundy.

I realize what you were trying to do, and I think you are part of the problem. The hate you express here is far worse than Bundy's tactless and flawed commentary. Bundy's coments were offensive, but more in an off-handed way.

Jason Bullock has principles and you taunt him for it, expressing some of the most vile, racist crap I've seen in a while. Try to laugh it off, but what you said was deeply racist and was an attack on Bullock, NOT on Bundy, as you want to imply. You can't escape the fact of what you expressed and how offensive it was, and you did so deliberately.
