"The Single Best Summation of Arguments Against Minimum Wage Laws"

By Chris Rossini

Yesterday, Robert reported some very good news from the Alps. There's actually a shred of economic sanity somewhere in the world. SEE: Switzerland Votes Against $24.70 Minimum Wage.

Well, Jeff Deist, President of The Mises Institute, emails what he considers to be "the single best summation of arguments against minimum wage laws". It happens to be Chapter 18 of Henry Hazlitt's best-selling classic Economics in One Lesson. You can read the Chapter right here, right now!

Pro tip: Don't stop with Chapter 18. Grab the entire book for free.

  1. Not me. I bought the book. Because I'm not cheap and "horde" my cash. Plus, I bought it from Mises Inst.

  2. I distribute it to 100's of H.S. students in the digital format. My classes spend considerable time with this book, especially the MW, Inflation, and "Saving Industry X". IT blows their minds.
