Grading Economics Textbooks on Climate Change

Since this "report card" is put out by Sightline Institute, which states that it's "mission is to make the Northwest a global model of sustainability—strong communities, a green economy, and a healthy environment," the worse the grade, the better the textbook is likely to be. Which means that Economics: Private and Public Choice by James D. Gwartney, Richard L. Stroup, Russell S. Sobel and David A. Macpherson is probably pretty good.

  1. I have an earlier edition of G S S and M's Economics: Private and Pubic Choice and have used it to teach economics to Bankers and it is a solid textbook with references to Austrian Economics. Not my favorite but the best of what I consider to be mainstream.
