The Secret of Selling Anything

Chris Rossini emails:

Last night, I finished the Harry Browne book on Selling that you recommended.

What a gem....

Thank you!

  1. I work in sales and I must admit that this book is great at explaining the process.

The only recommendation I would give is that if you're selling large items to a business, it's no longer wise to just say "I have no idea about your business; can you tell me about what you do?" People get annoyed at having to explain everything to you (they have to explain to a lot of salespeople). You want to at least read their website first to show familiarity, or if you want to be a star and you can manage your time well enough, read their annual report.

  2. I can't believe it has been so long since he passed. I miss that guy!
