Ben Bernanke Thinks He's Corageous

Ben Bernanke has chosen to name his memoir,“The Courage to Act.”

Does this guy really think printing money and bailing out the banksters takes courage?  He should read this to understand what real courage looks like,

The book is scheduled for release in mid-October.

  1. Great recommendation RW. Von Mises was that very rare individual who had the wisdom to know the difference between those things that humans can act to change and those things that must be accepted in order to effect change that will enhance human wealth and well being. Combined with the courage to promote his ideas even when his life was at risk, he was a most unique individual.
the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

  2. If only we had the courage to prosecute thousands of fraud committing bankers and industry co-conspirators.

Bernanke shows his contempt for the stupidity of people in general- otherwise he would not make such a ridiculous claim.

  3. the full title "the courage to act shocked, shocked that the meltdown occurred and then bail every jackass out" might have been a bit too long.
