A Noble Prize Winning Economist Worse Than Paul Krugman

Joseph Stiglitz, a Nobel laureate in economics, writes at Project Syndicate:
[T]he call right now is not a close one. On the contrary, it is as close to a no-brainer as such decisions can be: Now is not the time to tighten credit and slow the economy.

  2. Within the context of central banking, it isn't a good time to tighten. They'll call it a policy mistake--and it is. But the more fundamental policy mistake is central banking.
