David Rockefeller’s Maine Vacation Home Sells for $19 Million
Here's: This Week Inside the Top of Crony Living
The long-time estate of late billionaire David Rockefeller on picturesque Mount Desert Island in Maine has sold for $19 million, according to property records, reports Mansion Global.
The deed names the buyer only as Ringing Point, LLC, a shell company registered in Ellsworth, Maine, according to state and county records.
The property spans 2,500 feet of coastline jutting out into the ocean at the mouth of Seal Harbor.
The home went on the market in July, a few months after the death of Rockefeller, grandson of oil tycoon John D. Rockefeller Sr. He died in March at the age of 101.
