This is When I Am Really Glad My Hairstylist Barely Speaks English...

...and there is no chance she will be exposed to AOC "logic" about what to do when the lockdown is over.

It is clear AOC has no understanding of how society or the economy functions.

Businesses are barely surviving and AOC wants some kind of national strike? To gain what?

It reminds me of an encounter I had last week with a maitre d' at a restaurant I used to frequent before the lockdown.

I ran into him on the street and asked him how he was doing. His reply, "Surviving."

I asked him how the restaurant owner was doing. His reply, "Oh he has three restaurants, what does he have to worry about?"

I knew all three were shut down and thought to myself, this guy has no idea what it is like for a businessman who has no revenues and some costs that just continue.

I couple of days later I ran into the owner, he told me he had to borrow money from family and friends to meet obligations that he had to pay.

  1. AOC, the person a few years ago that claimed "people can't afford to live" and "I think it's wrong that a vast majority of the country doesn't make a living wage," and "People our age have never experienced American prosperity in our adult lives...".
So, if things were so hard-scrabble and bleak before the economy-crushing lock-downs, then why the glib brush-off and down-play of even worse conditions during the imminent and ongoing economic collapse? Where was her flippant admonishment of "Just buckle-down and deal with it, America" before, when things were eminently better?

  2. I welcome her not to return to her work in Congress, and to not take any compensation from being in Congress.
