  1. Iris Mack, you are absolutely wonderful and awesome. You represent something that is lacking in today's society: being ethical, principled and standing your ground; regardless of what others think. I was always taught that as long as you stand up for what you believe to be right and just, only good will come your way. I think that you represent a fine example of this throughout your career. Setbacks will always happen, that is a part of life, but that is also a part of what makes us strong and determined in our endeavors-- we learn and push on.

You will always have a friend in me, that is for certain. All of the best to you.

  2. You might want to tell Iris that it's not a new development. Plenty of black americans support Ron Paul and even take to YouTube to defend him against establishment attacks.

  3. Iris Mack is a treasure. So are you EPJ. Keep up the great work.

New film just premiered in LA. I couldn't help but think of Ms. Mack and her very important work.

  5. But I am worried about the primary. There is
NO mention of Paul in the news about South Carolina
and Florida. It sounds like the race is ONLY between
Gingrich and Romney, both of whom I would NOT support.

Will Paul really make it to the voter's ballot or will
it be another case of having to choose between worst and
    least worst?

  6. there are many who feel while Ron Paul is not a racist, he is antisemetic , anti-Israel, and if not he must so state overtly.

    1. Just because he doesn't endorse a policy of open-ended, unlimited support for Israel doesn't make him either anti-semitic (and it's offensive to suggest he is) or anti-Israel. He is in fact neutral on Israel. He thinks they should defend their own country, and that they are more than capable of doing so. He thinks that the US govt's continual interference in other countries' affairs is both unconstitutional and unhelpful.

    2. Anon 3:21, I have to say it. I don't give a hoot about Israel, and neither should Ron Paul. What he and every politician should care about is the USA, liberty, and the rule of law, period. It infuriates me how the jewish lobby has highjacked the foreign policy and media of this country. It is disgusting how the evangelicals prostrate themselves for jewish money. If the USG followed the constitution, we wouldn't be having these idiotic discussions about which foreign countries our politicians support. The answer would be unequivocally NONE OF THEM. Anything else is treason.

  8. People accuse Ron Paul of being 'anti semetic' because he doesn't want to bomb the moslems out of existence in the Middle East - just as he still values our sovereignity as a nation, he thinks we ought to mind our own business and not get involved in foreign wars for the zionists so that they can have their Kingdom of Solomon to rebuild the Temple. If you don't believe that, I refer you to Jewish author and professor Israel Shahak's very enlightening book Jewish History, Jewish Religion. Part of the reason we're over there is for the oil; the other part is this insane desire on the zionists to rule the world - and regardless of what the nazis did, the zionists in the world who run the banks think that they should be the ruling kings over the rest of the gentile world - and our news media has always reflected that by only reporting on what happens with the middle east as it concerns Israel - acting like the rest of the world doesn't exist. The Christian zionists in this country also heavily contribute to that. I heard one British lady being interviewed saying that Christianity doesn't exist anymore in the world - it's all turned into holocaustrianity.
No one approves of what Adolf Hitler did - but at the same time I don't think the United States should be at the beck and call of the zionists, sending our young men and women to die in foreign wars so that they can have their megalomaniac dreams of ruling the world. If you don't believe that, google search 'noachide laws' and see how even the Congress voted that zionist belief into american public law - caling for beheadings of anyone - Christian, Moslem, Hindu et al - who doesn't accept the Talmudic definition of what GOD is. I am sorry but I am a traditional Catholic that is totally fed up with being pushed around by those people and seeing them deliberately destroy the world's economy so they can have their 'new world order' with Judaism, masonry and communism for all - and it's time we all said NO to their plan from the bowels of hell.

    2. America needs to wake up,I have this feeling that tells me that there is some hidden agenda against the USA.These traitors live
among us,and their plans has nothing to do with the ideas uphold in the Constitution. Far from the truth they seek to destroy it and replace it with National Security Acts and Patriot Acts. You better Wake UP before is to late !!!!!!!!!!!!

    3. @Anonymous (6:03PM): Ron Paul may not be anti-Semitic himself, but he attracts a disproportionate share of followers who are. If you actually favor Ron Paul, you are doing him no favors by posting.

I personally might be inclined to support Paul (and in fact I sent him a contribution a while back), but I can't any more unless he shows some understanding of the nature and seriousness of the Jihadist threat.

    4. @10:33 I remember one of Rothbard's criticism of Keynesians was that they only saw two possible solutions to any problem. You seem to be making that error. Either we kill every Muslim (except Albanian), and bomb/invade every Muslim country or we disarm ourselves and let the Jihad horde over run our nation. The reasonable solution would lie somewhere in between. Provide a strong national defense without conducting immoral, ineffective and costly wars. Paul's national defense policy is realistic, moral and more effective. As to understanding the nature of the threat, I hope you are not a blow back denier.

  9. He is not anti-Semetic; His position on Israel is one that recognizes that the founding of Israel, while based supposedly on a charitable UN act, was essentially a racist move to segregate Jews to their own country, rather than ghettos in multiple countries.

    1. @Anon 25th 6:22 PM: Israel is a multi-ethnic country, and one of the most tolerant in the world. Just one example, the Bahá'í faith (an offshoot of Shia Islam) was founded in Iran, but its followers are considered apostates and persecuted there. The Bahá'ís now have their holiest shrines and world headquarters in Haifa and Acre, Israel, where they are welcome and practice their faith in peace. The regular Muslims, who long ago were so rude as to build the Al Aqsa mosque on top of the Jews' ruined temple, are permitted by the Israelis not only to worship there but to set the terms for running the place. (I have a vision that someday the Muslims will repent, apologize, and return it without conditions. Doesn't seem likely, does it? They don't operate that way; instead they claim it was never a Jewish sacred site.)

  10. Thank you, Iris! Another voice for freedom and against the establishment candidates of Romney and Gingrich. Dr. Paul speaks of true liberty, for all Americans, regardless of race or creed. I applaud you and your bravery for stating your views!

    2. Think about this: Many Americans still don't have the right to vote, in that we are not allowed to vote for the candidate of our own choice, but the choice of the media.
The biased media trying to control who gets nominated and elected is just a good example of what is wrong with the election system. We really don't have a choice, we can only vote for who is forced upon us, therefore we, nor the candidate of our choice are getting a fair shake.

  12. Yay Iris! Always great to see other free-thinking lovers of liberty out there! I would encourage everyone to volunteer at least 1 hour a week to the Ron Paul Campaign. I've never been as civic-minded until I learned of Ron Paul. My husband and I are working to become delegates in our caucus on Feb. 7. Wish us luck! go to ronpaul2012.com to get get involved!

  13. Ron Paul is and has always been a racist. His newsletter was racist and he proofread every issue, based on what his secretary at the time said.

That said, I have to agree with him on some issues, like his opposition to the Iraq war, his opposition to the drug war, his almost lone opposition to the Patriot Act, to name a few. But I would never vote for him.

On Dr. Paul's foreign policy opinions, the ex-head of the CIA's Bin Laden unit, Michael Scheuer agrees that the reason we were attacked, if that's what really happened, is because we are in their backyard, not because we are free. http://tinyurl.com/7umz93r

  15. Ms. Mack, IF you want to get Ron Paul on the General Election ticket, you need to invest a few minutes on the AmericansElect.org site. They are providing a platform for which we can have a 3rd person on the Gen.E. ticket. Ron Paul has the HIGHEST # of votes currently!

In order to bypass the GOP Establishment sabotage of Ron Paul, we must think outside the box. Please take a moment, and then perhaps start blogging about them and notify all the Ron Paul would-be voters.

We absolutely need RP to repeal the un-Patriot Act, and the NDAA. Our Constituional Republic, and Free-Market economy (which in truth we haven't had since the FED got instituted) is at their terminal stage if we don't do something drastic.
