Does the Daily Beast Have It's Own CIA Undercover Journalist?

Anna Nemtsova, who writes for the Daily Beast, has a fascinating piece on some Russian mansions that may, or may not, belong to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The column, though, is sure to stir up the Russian natives who have access to the internet.

Nemtsova is a correspondent for The Daily Beast and is based in Moscow. Her work also appears  in The Chronicle of Higher Education, on Radio Free Europe and in Foreign Policy. Whatever her reason, her columns are very much anti-Putin and pro-opposition.

  1. Interesting trivia:

    'Nemstova' is Russian for "German".

Apparently Ms Nemstova is the descendant of a German immigrant.
