In Case the Benton Sabotage Video Goes Down

Since Peter Schiff has asked YouTube to take down the youtube where Schiff reads a back and forth  email conversation with Jesse Benton, who bad mouths the decent people at P.A.U.L Fest, for the record here's a transcript of what Peter said:
Benton to Schiff in an email: "You might want to reconsider Paul Fest. Thing is bad news."
Schiff to Benton: "Why aren't you guys involved?"
Benton to Schiff: "Bad people working on it. Big fringe element. We're hoping the thing goes away."

    1. Why is telling the truth disgraceful?

    2. The only way this makes sense is if original anonymous was telling Wenzel that he/she thinks Benton is absolutely disgraceful.

    3. It was a private conversation that Peter didn't want recorded, everyone has a right to privacy and that video was a violation of that constitutional right.

    4. Presumably because Peter Schiff didn't want the video posted in the first place.

    5. Anon 6:38, don't be a hypocrite. If this was someone like Nancy Pelosi getting caught letting slip some nefarious plan of Obama's you wouldn't be saying one negative word about it. The fact is we learned a nugget of truth about Benton because of that video and there is nothing negative about that. As Patrick Henry once said, "For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth, to know the worst, and to provide for it."

    6. its very simple. you have no right to prevent people from repeating information any knowledge they have obtained and choose to publicize. how you interact with the people that publicize this info against your wishes is up to you.

someone is disgraceful in this whole thing but it isn't wenzel...or schiff for asking for it to be taken down. it is benton for his fraudulent slander.

  3. Benton's done as far as I'm concerned. Someone is either part of the solution or part of the problem... He's chosen to be the latter.

I'm curious though what is going on the Ron Paul. RP doesn't have a mean bone in his body and the very model of principled and yet it seems that he is surrounded by a bunch of political opportunists and not people who value freedom, the Constitution, or RP. Tragic if true.

  4. I wont be giving a dime to any political organization that Benton is affiliated with... Thats how we fight back and thats how we move forward. Money talks.

  5. I got off the Ron Paul bandwagon when Campaign for Liberty was designed to appeal strictly to rock ribbed Republicans. The Ron Paul Revolution had a very broad base in 2008, but it was restricted in scope by people like Jesse Benton.

My belief that Ron Paul was compromised or inept was confirmed by the interview Penny Freeman did with Adam Kokesh. She quit working for Ron when he made clear to her that he was never serious about winning the Republican nomination for president. Ron Paul had decided in 2007 to run a campaign that was designed only to inform the public about the issues. All the "Money Bombs" in the world could not overcome that simple fact!

The fact that Ron Paul remained as silent as a church mouse for three months while his delegates in state after state were savaged by the RNC speaks volumes. He is a fraud!

You can find the Penny Freeman interview on youtube, here is the title. Penny Freeman, former staffer in tears over Ron Paul betrayals

    1. I would never call Ron Paul a fraud. I call people who thought he could win the presidency and got their feelings hurt because he didn't, delusional.

    2. Agreed there was never any chance for Paul to win. The American people are essentially war mongering socialists. That said, the campaign was an educational event, mainly on economics. Now at the RNC people are receiving an education on American democracy. Also Freeman seemed a bit unrealistic to me.

  6. Schiff apparently doesn't realize the significance of this. The whole Ron Paul world was cheering him as a hero for exposing this boob. He thinks the incident is a negative for him. It is a big, big positive.
