Where Does a 'Terrorist' Go To Justify a Bombing? Wikipedia

Here we go with another bad script arrest of a clueless idiot.

NyPo tells us that Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis had recently attended North South University, in Dhaka, Bangladesh and that  according to NSU spokesman Belal Ahmed, "Nafis was a dunce who was put on academic probation and threatened with expulsion if he didn't hit the books harder."

What really fascinates me, though, is his choice of the New York Fed.

This comes from the government's complaint against Nafis :
NAFIS also provided the UC with a thumb drive containing an article NAFIS had written about his motivations for his attack. NAFIS believed that this article would be published by [the Al Queda magazine] Inspire...In that article, NAFIS [wrote]
I decided to attack the Federal Reserve bank of New York which is by far the largest (by assets),most active (by volume) and most influential of the 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks. The New York Federal Reserve Bank implements monetary policy, supervises and regulates financial institutions and helps maintain the nation’s payment systems.
The actual facts were scraped off of Wikipedia, apparently after Nafis chose the NY Fed as his target. This raises the question, how much "help" did this kid get in choosing the NY Fed as a target? Did he really know anything about the NY Fed? He certainly didn't quote any al Queda ramblings about the Fed. The kid went to Wikipedia to justify his attack!

  1. Peter Schiff was pretty funny on his radio show today talking about how this plan of the bombers likely would backfire on him (he of course did not say if people died - that it would be funny). The bomber's plan was to hurt the economy by bombing the Fed, while unbeknownst to him, incapacitating the Fed from intervening in the U.S. economy would actually STRENGTHEN the U.S. economy.

  2. Oppose the Fed? Clearly you are a terrorist.

  3. What moron from overseas thinks to himself "I hate the US, I want to bomb the FED"? Even most educated Americans don't know what the FED is, and certainly don't see it as a symbol of America. Smells like another government ploy. I love how these jerks think they can put any garbage out there and we'll believe it. Where is the pride in workmanship? Lazy, slothful, CIA...

  4. Something does not add up or smell right about this story.
Also, why would they allow him to attempt to act out the supposed plot, when they claimed they knew in advance exactly what he was doing and there was never any danger?

If it is true that he wanted to commit this act, did they let it go to attempted fruition for purposes of perhaps gaining sympathy for the Fed? Maybe the Federal Reserve police force wants to expand, and figured this would give what they needed to do so.

Something is fishy about all of this.

  5. With India now buying oil from Iran with gold, the USA want's to send India a message. Stop, or the criminal banksters will use this setup for action against India. Warning shot.

  6. Ah, poor misguided Mr. Nafis. Set up by the FBI in another of their inane, tiresome, redundant, "show the world that we are really, no I mean REALLY doing something" operations to convince the American public that they are not just another of the endless bureaucracies wasting your tax dollars.

The true irony is that the Fed needs no assistance in blowing itself up [along with the rest of the country, no, make that the world]. Quazi Muhammad, at 21, has not yet learned patience. He does not know that Beranake and company have stuffed their rectums with QE3 and lit the fuze. The rest is inevitable...

    I, am Spartacus
