In Ohio 2016 Poll, Hillary Clinton Leads Rand Paul

In the latest Quinnipiac University poll, Hillary Clinton leads Rand Paul, , 50-40 percent.

Asked whether Paul would make a good president or not, 44 percent of Ohioans surveyed said no, while just 33 percent said yes.

Among independent voters, 41 percent said Rand would not make a good president, compared to 35 percent who said he would.

Republicans felt strongly (57-21 percent) that Paul would make a good president, while Democrats felt even more strongly the opposite (72-7 percent).

In a Chris Christie-Hillary Clinton match up, Clinton showed a  narrow 42-41 percent , a margin well within the survey’s margin of error of plus or minus 2.7 percentage points.

Clinton and Christie “are the 2016 leaders to Ohio voters, locked in a statistical tie,” said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling institute.

“Interestingly, when voters are asked whether she would make a good president, more say yes (54-40 percent), than say they would vote for her,” Brown said. “Conversely, Vice President Joseph Biden is not presidential material in the eyes of Ohioans. Only 28 percent think he would be a good president.”

Clinton leads former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush in the Buckeye State 50-37 percent; bests Florida Sen. Marco Rubio 48-37 percent; paces Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., 49-41 percent; and clobbers Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Tex., 50-35 percent.

    1. Based on my informal polling among ***BUSINESS*** women, they'll vote for her 100% just because she's a woman (allegedly) and thus she understands "women's issues" i.e. abortion.

    1. What the heck does "make a good president" mean, anyway? This should be a vote to elect someone who will show fealty to the Constiution; it's not a vote for Prom queen. Americans are too ignorant to realize that in continuing to vote for "D"s or "R"s they are returning to their own vomit and assuring the continued sickness of their country. Instead they want to chide anybody who even thinks of voting 3rd party for "wasting their vote." The only way to protect yourself from the Americanus Idiotus is to leave the country for a place where some semblance of freedom still exists (I defer to Sovereignman.com for a list of viable places) and return after the country has completely collapsed to reconcile it to the Constitution; that is, if you think it's even feasible.
