Mnuchin: We’re Prepared to Go Back to Congress for More Money

This is the state of economic perspective in America.

In the clip below, when Treasury Secretary Mnuchin says "We’re prepared to go back to Congress for more money to support the American worker," none of the CNBC hosts question the Secretary about the fact that the government has no money for such a new bailout and that it will mean the Federal Reserve will have to print the money out of thin air.

The current period is one of the most reckless periods in terms of economic policy that has ever occurred in the United States.

  1. I don't understand why the executive bothers to go back to Congress. The lockdowns have shown that most Americans don't care about constitutional niceties, they just want action. In the finest of fascist traditions, Americans now only look to the executive to lead and act, and the legislature is a relic (established by some white slaveowners...).
